Our names are Scotty and Fiddy and we hitchhiked to all 50 state capitols in 50 consecutive days. We started in Times Square on October 10th 2006 and ended in Honolulu on November 28th 2006. It was awesome. Email us: hitch50@gmail.com. Thanks to everyone who made it possible, it was fun! Read about our trip here.

Ketch us if you kan!

We are now in Ketchikan, Alaska refueling our little Cessna before we head to Juneau for the night. The GPS doesn't have a signal up here, so you'll have to trust us that we are actually here. Or better yet, meet us for a nice steak dinner in Juneau later tonight.

Your words are funny because you combine Catch Me if You Can (A major release motion picture) with Ketchikan (a town in Alaska) to create a hilarious title for your blog post. That's why it's funny.

I called my contact with Alaska Airlines but they didn't seem to be able to do much to help. The best I could get out of two phone calls was a slight discount on fare, but you'd still have to pay the lowest advertised price...(Juneau to SeaTac = $411/ea.)

I'm going to call again and try to get a little higher in the food chain at Alaska Air. Re-pitch the story because I'm not sure they listened past the word "hitchhike".

Also, I contacted a local TV station (KING 5 News) and told them about you guys.

Look for my email in the morning with an update.

I noticed none of your signs had your Hitch50.com logo on them. This might be a good time to get a sign with your cool logo on it so if someone passes you but sees the Hitch50.com sign, they might look it up, see what your up to and maybe come back for you to give you a ride. Just a thought. Here, I fixed a picture of Scotty holding the sign you should have: http://static.flickr.com/119/286598422_5303c81a76_o.jpg
