Our names are Scotty and Fiddy and we hitchhiked to all 50 state capitols in 50 consecutive days. We started in Times Square on October 10th 2006 and ended in Honolulu on November 28th 2006. It was awesome. Email us: hitch50@gmail.com. Thanks to everyone who made it possible, it was fun! Read about our trip here.

Big Riggin'

Before we started Hitch50 we figured rigs or long-haul trucks would be the 'bread and butter' of our rides. But this never happened, we didn't have a single ride in a rig, or any commercial truck. Until today.

After waiting several hours on the side of I84 we climbed aboard Jack's truck in The Dalles, Oregon and headed east. He's hauling empty beer kegs to Salt Lake City, Utah. Jack is also planning to make a documentary about trucking and the lifestyle on the road. So hopefully we can get some good footage for him.

On the open road, through Boise to SLC.

Score! Not only a ride to Boise, but throught to Salt Lake as well? That's just too cool. Nice view high view of the road I see.

once thing I was curious about, your mandate is to actually stop at the capitol building right? Hope you ride doesn't mind too much if that's case.

How appropriate is it that he's carrying empty kegs to SLC, Utah?
